He dips into the carefully chosen color and begins to brush intentional shapes onto the blank page. The shapes begin to take form. He smiles, his eyes sparkle. He speaks fondly of the day we observed a rabbit munching on lavender. A day we joined our kindred spirits for Nature Study and set out on an exploration. A day rich with beauty and abundant with laughter, providing an opportunity to learn and to be challenged. Both intellectually and physically. A time to play. He reflects upon this marvelous day. He works diligently on the documentation of his experience in his Nature Notebook. He is proud of his effort. Joy flows.
